"Genio" Barbera d'Asti Superiore (Red)
£24.95

Ripe aromas of blackberries, plums, raspberries and bark from the new wood follow through to a full-bodied, velvety palate with a good degree of acidity. Aged in small barriques for between 18 and 24 months. From a small producer in Northwestern Italy who decided to name a wine after his grandfather Eugenio – hence the name "Genio". A real crowd-pleaser perfect for drinking now or cellaring for 2-3 years.
