Château Valoux, Pessac Leognan, Bordeaux (White)

80% Semillon and 20% sauvignon blanc, aged in oak barrel, it is a very complex white Bordeaux.

Château Valoux is an old wine estate of 8 hectares in the des Graves region, it is included in the Pessac-Léognan wine area. Château Valoux, located between the villages of Cadaujac and Martillac, is the closest neighbour to Bouscaut. And since 1929, both estates have had the same owners: Sophie Lurton and her husband Laurent Cogombles. Château Valoux, which is some ten hectares in a piece, has a very similar terroir to that of Bouscaut (predominance of clay and gravel on a limestone base) . The estate has been hosting magnificent sémillon, still producing after more than 150 years. It enjoys the same care and attention as Château Bouscaut.
