Verdeho "O Original" - Antonio Macanita
Made in the Portuguese archipelago of Azores that have a very particular terroirs and microclimate: The Azores, in fact, are volcanic islands and  the "black basalt" is the main part of the soil. The grape is the "Original Verdeho" (which is different from the Verdeho used in the Douro) and it is cultivated with the characteristic bush trained vineyards. The result is an amazing dry white with an intense minerality - almost saltiness - that is accompanied by an complex and intense bouquet.
