Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico SuperioreStefano Mancinelli
The name Verdicchio comes from the Italian word verde (green) for the characteristic green hue of its grapes. Verdicchio is made in the Marche region were there are two zones of production: Castelli di Jesi and Matelica.
This is a Verdicchio Superiore: one of the best example of its category and a great white wine. Fresh and incredible intense on the nose with evident aromas of marzipan, canary melon and the characteristic green almonds. On the palate it has a delicate creaminess and dryness with a touch of almond bitterness on the finish. Ideal for chicken roast, fish dishes and goat cheeses.
