The wine itself is full-bodied for the price with a lovely, juicy fruit core and firm tannins. On the nose balsamic character comes immediately to the fore before giving way to lighter notes of wild berries, ivy and even red roses. Notice the way this makes your mouth water as it leaves you with a pretty almond aftertaste.
