Maranges 1er cru "La Fussiere" 2020 - Claude Nouveau

Maranges is a little known appellation from the southern part of Burgundy and "La Fussiere" is its best expression. A truly Pinot Noir gem.

This wine boasts a brilliant colour - raspberry red, or sometimes darker and tending towards purple. Its fruit-laden bouquet is of blackcurrant buds, and spiced or preserved red fruits. The mouth, fresh, and tinged with liquorice and cola leaf lay down a meaty foundation for peppery flavours.
