Cabernet Sauvignon "Pied a Terre"

Pied à Terre sources its fruit from diverse vineyard sites from Sonoma and are only produced in excellent vintages. The fruit is then fermented by the incredibly talented winemaker Clay Mauritson. The Cabernet Sauvignon was aged exclusively in French wood, though less than 20 percent of the barrels were new.Aromas of vibrant red fruit, sour cherry and black cherry, with a touch of peat and bell pepper. On the palate, the wine has great intensity and freshness, with subtle, mature tannins.
