Cardamaro is a unique wine-based amaro created in the 1950s by herbalist and scholar Rachele Torlasco Bosca in Canelli, Piedmont, Italy.
Made with a local Piedmontese Moscato wine base rather than pure neutral spirit.
Tasting Notes: Features cardoon (artichoke thistle) and blessed thistle as primary botanicals, combined with 23 additional herbs, ginger, and spices.
Aging: Rests in oak barrels for at least six months to add texture and spice.
