Hautes Côtes de Beaune Blanc - Domaine Claude Nouveau

What an amazing white here, probably the best for its category and price. A  full display of citrus (lime in particular) fresh herbs, tropical fruits and touches gingerbread. On the palate is crisp and dry with a high acidity, making this the perfect palate cleanser and ideal with oysters or other shellfish requiring this level of sourness. No wood was used in the making of this medium-bodied Chardonnay, and it comes across as very clean, steely and mineral.
