"Peschio Trentasei" Petit Verdot / Cabernet Sauvignon - Giangirolami (Red, Organic)

Italy's answer to Bordeaux, this is an equal blend of classic varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot from Lazio near Rome. Aged for 36 months in oak barriques, as part of the bouquet vanilla and pepper combine with blackcurrants, cherries and plums. This is a powerful, indulgent wine on the palate, presenting layered tannins, a rich and fruity core but a fresh finish. Wash down with your steak, duck, venison or other roast game.
