Piculit Neri - Bulfon
Vinarius
This is one of a kind. An amazing story behind the label. Everything started in 80ies in Friuli Venezia Giulia, north east of italy. The winemaker Emilio Bulfon discovered some wild vines in his village Pinzano al Tagliamento, and decided to start studying them. Together with the help of some experts, they find out where completely unknown new varieties and since '91 he started to plant them. Piculit Neri is one of them. A fresh fruity nose of blackcurrant and raspberries, with a hint of herbaceous notes and a touch of "fume" and black pepper. Medium-bodied on the palate, fresh with rounded tannins and a long finish.
