"Prodigo" Syrah - Giangirolami (Red, Organic)

This is a Syrah that shows why Lazio is an upcoming area for the grape variety. Delightfully elegant with mature but clean plums, raspberries and blackberries on the nose, it soon gives way to a full but velvety texture that doesn't disappoint thanks to an appropriate helping of acidity to boot. Made without wood ageing from organic grapes farmed near Rome. Try with cured meats, pizza and strong cheeses.
