The Drunken Beauty - Grenache, Sangiovese, Merlot

This medium-sweet style is made from Grenache Noir and Sangiovese harvested late in the 2018 season. The fermentation was stopped during the harvest, leaving some residual fruit sugar.

It was then blended with Merlot to balance the flavor, tannins and sweetness. It has a rich fruit palate. This wine is suited to accompany robust Chinese meat flavors and can even cope with Sichuan spice.
