" Tolos" Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva DOC 2015

This is a Riserva Montepulciano that spend 18 months ageing in small oak barrels and 12 months in bottle before being released.

A bold and masculine red with a smooth and silky texture coupled with an intriguing nose with dark chocolate, black fruits and sweet spices. Austere and restrained at the beginning (if you open it 1 hour before drinking would definitely help) with an impressive "crescendo" of complexity and intensity that flows elegantly on the palate in a very long and satisfactory finish.
