Vacqueyras - Domaine Grandy

Vacqueyras spent many years as one of the best of the Cotes du Rhone Villages wines until 1990 when it was given its owm appellation. Its vineyards are just to the east of Chateauneuf-du-Pape and the wine is usually big in style.

Rich, deep berry fruit nose. The palate has a ripeness to it with a lingering tannin in the middle. The finish is softly dry.
