The name Verdicchio comes from the Italian word verde (green) for the characteristic green hue of its grapes. Verdicchio is made in the Marche region were there are two zones of production: Castelli di Jesi which is situated along the and Matelica inland.

This excellent example has a special dryness yet  soft, fragrant and persistent with the classic almond aromas but also orange peel, green tea and cashew nuts.
