In fact, although it is located in the Cotes du Rhône, one of the most celebrated French wine appellation, has a beautiful settings and perfect located and looked after vineyards, it remains a down to earth wine producer with approachable prices.
Here we have three important factors that constitutes what the French call Terroir: a long winemaking history, a unique subsoil (made of limestone screes on blue marble) and a hot Mediterranean climate moderate by the influence of the Mistral wind during the summer season. These factors allow the production of round, powerful but elegant wines with a great aromaticity.
Their quality wines include in particular: "Le Fornas" a Grenache based wine that in Vinarius we have nicknamed "our little Chateauneuf-du-Pape" for its intrinsic characteristics; "Rosé d'Archas" a benchmark quality Rosé you can find in the nearby Provence area without the expensive price tags normally attached to that style and the "Blanc d'Amour" which is a beautiful blend of local white local grapes: Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne and Grenache blanc.
